Account creation problem

I've tried to sign-up for vittana, but after entering my name, email, password. captcha the three dots under the captcha keeps pulsing and pulsing. I've received the welcome mail, but my account was not created. I've tried three times with different browsers, but no success, the same problem with all browsers. What I'm doing wrong here?

    Hi Günter,

    Thanks so much for writing in! I had a chance to play around a bit with account creation, and from the look of it, our system no longer handles umlauts as characters. I've notified the web team, and they're looking into getting umlauts supported on Vittana.org once again (we know they were in the past, but it looks like since we've pushed new content, we lost the functionality).

    In the meantime, I've gone ahead and created an account for you under your provided gmail address. I'll follow-up shortly via email to provide password. I do believe that you can add umlauts on the profile page to your first and last names, so if you'd like to change what I've done, please do so there.

    My sincere apologies for the lack of support on our end regarding characters. Let me know if I can do anything more for you, and I'll follow up asap.
